Top international shotgun brands will be descending on Hampshire this bank holiday weekend as part of the exciting new Gunmakers’ Roadshow, which is set to land at Broadlands Country Show on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 May.
Aimed at clay and game shooters alike, the ground-breaking initiative will see Blaser, Browning, Miroku, Winchester, AYA and Rizzini exclusively showcasing the latest products with retail outlets, dedicated clay shooting lines for try-before-you-buy opportunities plus tuition from BASC-accredited coaches. In a bid to encourage more newcomers to the sport, visitors will also benefit from free clays and cartridges.
Countryman Fairs’ CEO Ian Harford explained: “Reading a review in a magazine will only go so far when helping you decide on a new shotgun purchase. What really helps though is if you can meet a brand representative and discuss your requirements. That’s why the Gunmakers’ Roadshow was devised. Top brands from across the globe have signed up to exclusively showcase their new shotguns and accessories in an environment where visitors can actually try-before-they-buy. Buying a shotgun can be a big investment so it is imperative that those interested in purchasing a new gun have the opportunity to put it through its paces. The dedicated clay line will be manned by brand representatives to talk visitors through all the features of their shotguns and explain face-to-face why their product could just be their dream gun.”
