Top international shotgun brands will be descending on Berkshire next bank holiday weekend as part of the exciting new Gunmakers’ Roadshow, which is set to land at Highclere Country Show on Sunday 29 and Monday 30 May.
Aimed at clay and game shooters alike, the ground-breaking initiative will see Browning, Miroku, Winchester, AYA and Rizzini exclusively showcasing products in a purpose-built exhibition area adjacent to the clay shooting lines for try-before-you-buy opportunities plus tuition from BASC-accredited coaches. In a bid to encourage more newcomers to the sport, visitors will also benefit from free clays and cartridges.
Countryman Fairs’ CEO Ian Harford explained: “You wouldn’t buy a new car without first taking it for a spin, so it seems logical to apply the same logic to the purchase of a new shotgun. For years shooters have had to poke up with buying a shotgun without first firing it. That’s why Countryman Fairs has devised the Gunmakers’ Roadshow. The initiative will see world-class manufacturers and distributors exclusively showcasing products in a purpose-built village with retail outlets, dedicated clay shooting lines for try-before-you-buy opportunities plus tuition from BASC-accredited coaches.”
